No original cast for TF4, me happy!
Next, Josh Duhamel decided to follow Shia’s decision where the star of the previous “Transformers” films who caught up with E! Online recently and said that he wasn’t planning on coming back for the future film. And, apparently, neither are his famous costars.
“I don’t think anybody’s doing it,” he said. “I know Shia [LaBoeuf]’s not doing it. I don’t think Tyrese or Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] or anybody else is doing it.”
Duhamel didn’t seem too surprised that Paramount Pictures was continuing the franchise, citing the previous film’s big box office haul as more than enough reason to proceed with the series.
“Whenever these movies make that much money they’re going to make as many as they can,” he said. “[But] I haven’t heard anything about it. They haven’t called me.”
Granted, there’s still plenty of time for Bay and di Bonaventura to do so. Bay is directing “Pain and Gain” first, and the movie isn’t even expected to hit theaters until June 27, 2014. But Duhamel doesn’t sound particularly excited to come back into the fold, if he’s even asked. We’ll have to see how things pan out once “Transformers 4” gets closer to casting its stars.
