Activision announced today that Ironhide and Skywarp will be available as playable characters for Transformers: War for Cybertron on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
Seems like more and more repaints in on the way – Ben Yee has supplied us with a bountiful amount of carded images for future Revenge of the Fallen releases. From the Deluxes we’ve got Ratchet, Recon Ravage (the mail-in exclusive), and Lockdown. In the scout class there’s Skystalker, Scattorshot and Divebomb.
The RPMs are rounded out with Highway Patrol Barricade, Enforcer Ironhide vs. Mixmaster, a new deco of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime vs. Desert Long Haul (perhaps the new name for the Voyager repaint as well?) and Soundwave. The miscellaneous categories of Gravity Bots now have the additions of Battle Steel Optimus Prime and Nitro Sideswipe, while Battle Chargers have the addition of Cyber Armor Optimus Prime and Megatron.
Most notable are Recon Ravage, Divebomb, and RPM Soundwave as we have yet to see either on card. You can check them out below…..
Deluxe Recon Ravage
Light slides off Ravage the way a duck’s feathers shed water. Even in the brightest light, he is nothing more than a shadow, slinking unnoticed toward his prey.
He is the ultimate infiltrator, absolutely silent, endlessly patient, but savage and lethal when the mission calls for it. No creature in the galaxy is better suited to be a thief and spy, which is just fine with Ravage. He takes delight in working in the darkness for the glory of Megatron.
Entranced with the romance and daring of ancient Decepticons living on Earth, Divebomb rescanned his vehicle mode to mimic one of the most famous of those old warriors. Unfortunately, paired with Skystalker to fight an Autobot antiaircraft specialist, he’s quickly learning the limitations of his new form.
Hollywood actress Megan Fox is bored of simple roles. She wants to feature in horror movies where she can wear “gross outfits” just like in her movie Jennifer’s Body.
The Transformers actress said: “I hate doing school scenes and office scenes; I hate doing mall scenes… if I could do exciting genre films like this and be covered in blood and vomit for the rest of my life, I would be really happy,” reports contactmusic.com.
“The scenes in which I was covered in blood and break through glass were amazing. In one scene, I’m shoving a whole chicken in my mouth – a whole chicken! I love it; it is so different and original.”
Fox says she particularly loved the “gross” outfits she got to wear as her character, an undead cheerleader who kills and eats her classmates.
“It was so cheese-tastic and so gross and so cheap, I loved it. It was so like how I used to dress when I was in high school because I had no money,” she added.
Hasbro never stop ‘impressing’ us with recolours. Thanks to HK-TF for the latest images of the FAB Night Blades Sideswipe, FAB Sand Attack Bumblebee and FAB Power Armor Optimus Prime. The new images show us two new Fast Action Battler figures that will be coming to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen line in and out of the packaging.
The Fast Action Battler Power Armor Optimus Prime action figure is a total make of the Power Hook Optimus Prime from the 2007 movie. This figure has two swords that look more like hooks and a much better robot mode.
The Fast Action Battler Night Blades Sideswipe Prime action figure is a repaint of the Battle Blades Sideswipe action figure that was done up in movie colors. Not sure what the reasoning is, but Night Blades looks much different here in gray with green windows?
Only the back of the card is shown for Sand Attack Bumblebee. But he does appear to be a repaint of the Rally Rocket Fast Action Battlers mold with a similar “Launching Plasmabolt” weapon and what is a dusty or desert colors theme. Read from the back of his card:
Around the world, the Autobots battle in secret to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons . Little do they know that an even deeper threat is about to arise.
With the battle raging in the desert, Bumblebee knows he needs to be ready. He upgrades with the latest in deep desert weaponry, and prepares to charge into battle across the dunes. The Decepticons will never know what hit them when they get a taste of his sand blast!
Awesome quick-change figure converts from robot mode to Camaro concept car in vehicle mode and back again! Keep the enemy in site as you unleash the launching plasma bolt to help defend the Autobot allies!
TakaraTomy will soon release repainted versions of Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen voyager class Demolishor and deluxe class Rampage with new more movie accurate paint applications.
There is no official information on the release date of these figures at this moment, but when we know, we’ll be sure to share it.
Tformers break some news for all you fans of Skids & Mudflap. If you love the pesky Twins, then this will be a treat for you, and if not, well, just keep scrolling on down. According to the Transformers Live Action Movie Blog, there are some extra lines from the two goofballs in the DVD and Blu-ray release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Luis, who viewed what seems to be a copy of the DVD version of the movie, recounted that the Twins did get additional dialogue, including the Shanghai scene when they crash. In between the lines that Skids says, “This is combat, man,” and asks “what’s wrong with you,” Mudflap declares that he has brain freeze. Skids still smacks Mudflap in the head.
Also, Target.com’s product listing of their store exlusive Blu-ray edition (see which stores get which exclusives) of the film reads “dialogue has been changed from the theatrical version” on the back of the Blu-ray box right above the MPAA rating on the bottom left-hand side.
Could it just be a Target exclusive like the IMAX footage is a WalMart exclusive? We’ll find out in a little over a week.
TheArker has given us some new in package shots for the upcoming Revenge of the Fallen figures Dirge, Tuner Mudflap & Armorhide. All are deluxe class figures with Dirge being the only new mold shown.
Tuner Mudflap is a repaint of the Revenge of the Fallen toy, while Armorhide takes his name from the 2007 Target Scout Exclusive but Landmine’s mold from the first movie line. All are part of the new N.E.S.T. Global Alliance line for the 2009 movie.
Dirge thought the heart of enemy territory – N.E.S.T. Headquarters – was the perfect place from which to launch a secret campaign of terror.
A single slip-up revealed his presence, and brought his plans crumbling down. Now he’s running scared with Bumblebee and Armorhide on his tail. He’s to firghtened to land, but so terrified of running out of fuel that he finds himself breathing a sigh of relief every time he touches down.
Tuner Mudflap’s bio:
There was a time when Mudflap would have been intimidated by a warrior as accomplished as Sideswipe. But now, with the final battles of the war in his past, and a hot new engine and paint job, he’s ready to give the Autobot sword-master a run for his money.
Mudflap can’t outfight Sideswipe, but there’s no doubt in his mind he can out-drive the older Autobot.
Things have been slow lately, so the discovery of a Decepticon hiding right under his nose was like a dream come true for Armorhide. He’s enjoying working alongside Bumblebee, since his damaged vocal processor means the other Autobot can’t complain about his methods.
Armorhide doesn’t care about stealth or safety. All he cares about is bringing Dirge crashing down.
