Transformers Reveal The Shield (RTS) is a sub-line of Transformers Generation released in 2010. This toy line comes with a rub-sign which is a homage to G1 styled toy rub-sign. Also it is loosely associated with the continuity of Hunt For The Decepticons and also a successor of 2006 Transformers Classics line. It is known as a come back of Classics line where the rub-sign was last seen.
RTS features Classics based toys which is mostly homages of G1 characters. Some characters are ‘reused’ by giving a new headsculpt or retooling. In some cases, they were a straight redeco from other toy lines. RTS comes with their own packaging almost similar to HFTD line.
RTS had a unique naming compared to other lines. For most instances where copyright issues are concerned, a name will be prefixed with the allegiance name such as Autobot or Decepticon. Since RTS is all about guarding the identity of the character’s allegiance, the prefixes employs descriptive words to add to their names.
