When the teaser trailer for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” will debut has been the subject of a lot of talk in the fan community, and one of the film’s scriptwriters Roberto Orci has added a little more fuel to the fire.
When Mr. Orci was asked about the possibility of the teaser trailer for the sequel debuting with “Fringe,” his newest project premiering on FOX this fall, on “Transformers” Producer Don Murphy’s message board, he responded, “[m]aybe — or maybe in front of EAGLE EYE… who knows.”
Eagle Eye, the Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III) thriller, will premiere in theaters on September 26, 2008.
Mr. Orci’s comments differ from comments previously made by “nelson,” site administrator of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” Director Michael Bay’s website Shoot For The Edit. He previously mentioned that the month of November would be a reasonable timeframe for the debut of a teaser for the film.
