Why Transformers Were the Best Toys

But I always seem to make it on time. Thankfully, I used to be able to really run fast when I was a child. When I made it home I know the next 30 minutes I was set. That show was like an opera for a child. I always knew that the autobots would be victorious at the end of the show, but I was still on the edge of my seat.

But if there was one thing better than the Transformers TV show, it was the Transformers toys. I was hooked on them. I don’t want to say I had if youit would be worth now.

I also remember the the horrible knock offs that the transformers inspired. Remember the train wreck that were the Go Bots. Who actually played with them? They look like they were put together by spare parts. They just couldn’t compete with the transformers.

The transformers were just way ahead of their time. Sure, most people can come up with an idea for a robot to transform into a vehicle. But what about 5 or 6 that can transform together to form one big robot? Luckily, Hasbro did.

I must have saved every cent from my allowance so I could get each Constructicon, so they could form Devastator. In hindsight, it was quite an amazing marketing plan.

But anyway you slice it, you can be sure there will never be toys like that anymore.
