Weaving As Soundwave?

Stemming from an interview with Welker with TFW2005.com, the question was posed  – TFW: Have you been approached at all for any further work with the franchise, either with the movie (Soundwave?) or another incarnation, such as Transformers: Animated?

Welker: Well it is a little too early to be specific but I will say yes and no. No, I have not been approached by the movie folks but yes I am still involved in the franchise…more on that later.

The fanboys on Michael Bay's Shoot for the Edit boards starting the plea (again) for Welker to voice Soundwave in the sequel. This time Bay responded.

A man of many words, Bay chimed in to the chat with this – I think I'm going to pursue Frank on Soundwave. So are fanboys getting their wish? We'll have to wait and see!
