Well, this time he doesn't need to ask fans, because Paramount has already decided to push the release date up by 2 extra days for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen so that it will now hit theaters on Wednesday, June 24th, instead of the 26th.
That's a few extra days that we'll be able to bask in the glory of all things Optimus Prime and Michael Bay. It's not a big change, but it's enough to keep me excited!
Another release date change that was never mentioned – Warner Brothers pushed up the opening of Terminator Salvation by one day. It will now open on Thursday, May 21st, instead of the Friday, the 22nd.
This decision was probably made so that it could distance itself even more from Fox's Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, which also opens on the 22nd. It's very likely that both of these movies will have midnight showings on their respective opening nights.
And don't forget, the full trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters in front of Friday the 13th this weekend, but we won't get it online until Monday!
