Talking to Rope of Silicon, the filmmaker teases that more will be seen in the upcoming videos, saying "Just wait until they see the next one, we are going to show so many robots you won't believe how many robots there are!"
He further promises that the next trailers leading up to the film will give ideas of what the "Transformers" sequel is all about though not excluding the explosive footage. "A movie isn't an actual movie unless things are blowing up and I blow them up with the best of them," he gushes.
"Sure, you can have emotional moments and we have those with Megan [Fox] and Shia [LaBeouf], but when it comes down to it no one goes to a movie for the actual story as much as they go to see robots and things explode and we got that!"
A follow-up to the hit 2007 "Transformers", "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" will follow Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes. This time, they are getting attacked by Decepticons because Sam knows about the origins of the Transformers and their ancient history on Earth. Battling the Decepticons' effort to capture Sam, Autobots unite with U.S. military and an international coalition to fight back the villains' attack.
Coming from screenwriter team, Ehren Kruger, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, the action fantasy movie sees Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox as Sam and Mikaela respectively.
The two are joined by Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Isabel Lucas, Rainn Wilson and others in the cast ensemble. DreamWorks will distribute the movie across the U.S. on June 26.
