The TRANSFORMERS brand looks to get itself tied into two foods that are a staple of many modern children’s diets…Milk and M&M’s!
Okay, M&M’s is more of a treat than a regular part of a diet, but still eaten by many kids around the world.
Milk is important for strong teeth and bones (like the commercials tell us), and it looks like Transformers characters are going to help sell milk, and milk will try to help sell Transformers brand to children when they drink it in the cafeteria.
The New York Times reports that TRANSFORMERS brand characters will be lending their likenesses to milk cartons in a cafeterias near you.
And if that’s not enough, THE NATIONAL CONVENIENCE STORE CONVENTION featured new products for taste testing. At the M&M’s booth, there was an advertisement of a new M&M’s flavor to be produced and sold to help promote TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN!
The flavor is supposed to be strawberry/peanut butter, but apparently there were no samples of it, just an advertisement.
Looks like the hit that was the first Transformers movie, has spawned more cross promotional options for the second upcoming release. Expect more news on new promotions as the movie release gets closer.
