A Decepticon Engagement Ring & Proposal Gone Viral

Transformers fans always have a creative way around things, not only in hobby but love life as well. We have seen Indian Jones inspired ring before this but here we got, a featurette featuring what a Transformers engagement ring look like.

This awesome ring which has gone viral recently was created by Deviantart user The Boog17 for this lucky recipient, Fire Redhead, who is now Boog’s fiance.

DeviantArt user Fire-Readhead is now the proud owner of this Decepticon engagement ring. The ring was a custom design by her now fiance who is a jeweler.

I love that he titled it “Evil Robot Organization Engagement Ring.” The best thing about it is you can totally fool people who think pop-culture wedding rings are weird into thinking it’s just a regular old engagement ring.

Here’s some interesting fact about the ring:

The setting of this ring was custom made using a 3Design CAD CAM software and casted in 14k white gold.
The setting is designed to look like the Decepticon insignia.
The mask setting is two sided, and the prongs holding the Moissanite gemstone in place are the robot’s horns, which I thought was pretty cool.

Why Decepticon? It is based on the recipient’s choice who is a fan of the Decepticon! Here below we can see the ring in a blown up view quite a bit, so the fine detail of the craftsman’s work can be viewed closely.
